Outside we use weatherproof rated cables, that don’t degrade under sunlight/UV, suffer in the wet & rated for harsh outdoor environments. All our network cables are pure copper, not cheap PVC jacketed CCA (aluminium), they provide blisteringly high speeds without failing in tough environments.

Top down: 24 port CAT6 patch panel, VLAN Main switch, PoE Switch, Network Access Controller. Secure guest WiFi (red cables) segregated from core network (blue cables) via the NAC + VLAN switch.

Customer: UKPower moved into a new office, found every socket cut & cables removed. Electricians used PVC CAT5 cable in the ventilation space & were forced to remove it by building control...
